Three Questions about SD - Post ID...

#1) Can anyone tell me where to do this: Set focus to web view once a project is loaded.?
This is a new feature of v5 build 3499.

#2) Where can I go to learn more about what to do with the Supports Query? Do I need to mess with this and if so, what support rules should I add? Do I need to add one about flex if I'm using flex in the site, etc., etc.? Don't browsers see what my site is using anyway and either automatically accomodate or adjust for it?

#3) Where can I learn more about Structure Data? There is no schema type for my business. I get the feeling I should do it seperately for each page (or just important pages?) but I really have no idea. Each schema type has it's own properties and, since my type of company isn't on there, I'm not sure how I can use this for my site. Even the About Page type had me confused, and I have an About page.
Any tutorials or places on the web that would help me understand how I might use this feature to benefit my sites?

Thanks!

#1 You're as wise as me...

#2 The Support query is maybe not as important anymore as it was at the time when IE11 was still playing a part among the browsers that people are using. The idea was that you should create a 'simple' layout first (Fallback first) that could be displayed by older browsers, and then switch to 'Display Grid' to make the enhanced design for modern browsers.
Now, if you are on Win 10, Microsoft has probably been nagging you repeatedly to upgrade to Edge, and when it got fed up with nagging, it simply made every call for IE11 to be opened in Edge automatically. And if you are on Win 11, you don't even have IE.

#3 You can find some info here: https://schema.org/docs/documents.html

Inger,
"#1 You're as wise as me..." means you don't know yet either, I'm guessing.
Surely we'll get to find out soon.

And thanks for the other info. It is extremely helpful! I'll continue to not worry about the support query (which has been working well for me so far ). And I'll check that schema link out after lunch!

Hi All
I think it's something to do with loading for mobile devices, if that's the case then you don't really need do anything, or even cannot do anything.

But it would be nice to have some information from CC about that and the other new features etc

#1: I assumed it was the fact that previously, on loading a project where a breakpoint was out of view, one simply got a message to that effect, whereas now it adjusts the zoom automatically to bring that breakpoint into view.

Perhaps the answer to Inger's enquiry will prove me wrong.

I got a reply from one staff member last night and from another today. The 'Set focus to web view once a project is loaded' is not something that we, the users, can do, it is a back-end thing that causes the mouse and keyboard shortcuts to be ready to be used as soon as a project is loaded.

It's the thing with such 'company-intern lingo' that it is often not understood by others. The users might, by 'set focus...' perhaps understand 'We have set focus..', or 'You have to set focus..' or 'It is possible to set focus...' and then we start wondering. ;)

Seems strange to me that they would mention such a thing in the update information then especially when it's a back end thingy that we ordinary mortals have nothing to do with it and has no apparent obvious effect for us .

That is exactly what I told them ;) Or explain it in a way that 'we ordinary mortals' would have a chance to understand.
