I was told that CCs slider has been dropped as you can do a slider in SD. Any tutorials on that?

I haven't heard that the slider RCs has been dropped but if you have it already it will still work
In RSD The Component is called Orbit (for foundation0
It's very easy to adapt & style a very versatile component

Do you want the button to appear on all slides? (with different links to the info) or just the once ?
to speed up the transitions you are going to have to add a custom attribute
Select the Container with the class orbit
In ATTRIBUTES ADD the attribute "Custom:"
name it "data-timer-delay"
enter a value the default is 5000 mili-seconds
A larger number would slow it down a lower number speeds it up
for example 7000 is slower 3500 is faster
