Site Wrap Up question - Post ID 269223
Have a responsive slider on the homepage - and it looks like RSD had me put code in the Header (it's on ALL the pages?) Can I remove the code from the other pages? Is there a reason to have slider Header info on all pages, even those don't use it?
Is the a feature to adjust the Title and Description info for each individual page? Is the RSD Page Settings tab for each page or a "general" all pages in the site?
In regards to cookies - in setting up a privacy policy I'm curious if RSD makes use of ANY cookies (automatically added by software?) - so that our statement of "not using cookies" remains true.
Thanks

I seemed at one stage to have a similar problem with RFF, not RSD. I say 'seemed' because what was happening was that the Page Settings panel was failing to refresh when I switched pages. Full re installation, and even trying on another computer, failed to resolve the issue, and it seemed that the problem was in the .rff project file rather than in the program itself.
Scott didn't manage to replicate the problem other than with my particular .rff project file, and the matter was left on 27 July 2016 (under the title 'Settings panel not refreshing with change of page') that he would talk to the developers to try and see what was causing it.
If the project file of the seemingly similar situation mentioned in the post above is sent to the support room, it may be that some common features of that project file and mine may shed light on what is happening.

I have noticed that on a new project i am doing for helping someone,,,, and that too has the slider stuff on all pages. I have deleted it from all the other pages and it remains on the pages where it is required so I would say yes you can remove the header code from RCS from the pages header where you don't want it to appear
Could it be that you duplicated the other pages from the one that had the slider stuff in the header, therefore carrying forward the RCS header information

In order for cookies to work properly, they need to be set before any HTML is generated, good practice would be to simply set them before the HTML doctype declaration.
So I would say there isn't any cookies thingy going on with CC RSD software,,,,unless you do it yourself, but what I find strange is why you don't want to use cookies (although it's your choice of course but COOKIES are a very cost-effective, non invasive way to help you gather information about visitor behavior on your website and learn how to improve their user experience at the same time.(the visitor has the option to turn off cookies if they don't want them from their browser)

I understand the "benefits" of cookies - but I am also aware that visitors that want to use this site to pay an online invoice may be reluctant if the site is tracking their activity in any way. So I'm advising the client to opt out of utilizing them in regards to visitors feeling safe and secure.
Wayan - have you had luck setting each page TITLE and DESCRIPTION using the tab in RSD?
Does it go on the individual page or is it copied to ALL pages through the entire site?
Not sure I understand the thinking of copying HEADER info to the entire site - when it is only needed on the page where it is used????? More work for me, I guess, after EXPORT.

Don't know about RSD, but in RFF you can set page titles, descriptions, keywords etc. individually for each page. And RSD, RFF and RBB seem to be very similar.

just delete what you don't want from the page you don't want it,,, that works,,, and as Inger says put the page title /desc/keywords etc also into each page (if it has copied from other pages just delete it within RSD no problem just delete that and replace it with what you want
