RSD Version 2.5, Build 2425 - Post ID...
I keep getting an error cleaning code and history stack. Anyone know what this means. This is getting to be a pain.
It won't let me update my pages and don't save also.

You should open a support ticket for that, I keep getting it on the odd occasion, but now the project is growing in size it's coming more often

I've just started to encounter this as well. It can take several minutes to do whatever it is it's doing! I am also experiencing elements disappearing. Although I have no 'clinical' proof they seem to be picture links.
Me, too on all issues. When it locks up nothing is available to click except for the "X" to close.

Hello Terry,
That has been a problem and nuisance for me since last year but to let you know it is because of my site in RSD 1.5 that has about 65 pages. I do have 2.5 latest build and know it will backwards open 1.5 sites BUT was concerned so kept main computer with RSD1.5 and added 2.5 on different computer to be safe. My 1.5 does open in RSD 2.5 but takes a loooong time and I was getting that "Cleaning Code" and "History Stack" message and was real slow opening pages to work on. I actually stopped trying and am slowly redoing site in FF ( stand alone ap) It may be due to 1.5 and coffee grinder ( or not) and Bob at CC agreed when I said I would be changing to FF and that would be best.
I do not know if you also are trying to open 1.5 in 2.5 so you may have a different issue but seems same as I have.
On another note, some have said they had no problems going RSD 1.5 to 2.5.
I put my site rebuild now on hold since 3.0 is suppose to coming out so will wait for a while.
Hopefully your problem will be taken care of and CC does give good support and may have a work around for you.

My RSD project froze yesterday with that cleaning code/stack thingy, just spinning & spinning. couldn't get out of it,, crashed RSD re-loaded the same thing over & over again.
This is not even a large site yet in terms of pages, there are a few modal windows but this has got progressively worse and worse.
I raised a support ticket with CC, but in the meantime have gone on & re-built the site (with no problems so far) in RFF stand alone.
RSD has always taken a long time to open for me regardless of how big or small the project is (even for a new project)
Will update with latest when I get something from CC Support

I don't know if this help with your history stack issue but we ran into this with our website software too, where windows was building up in the background and causing loading issues. So when 2.5 started doing that as well I tried the same solution.
What I do is use "save as" then use a different file name. So say you are working on myproject.rsd under the file menu save as new1.rsd or something like that. What that seems to do is clear out the undo/cache build up?
At least that does work for me...
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
