Pulling my hair out. What I am trying to do is place the 4x3picture links which now run down the right side of the page, on the left side of the page. If I do this, then when I slide the site down to say tablet size and want to make the logo column 12 wide, the logo falls under the links. I have tried all links in 1 column, placing each in its own column, and grouping them. The idea is to be able to keep them on the left if possible then move them under the logo once the page starts getting smaller. Love the software just relentlessly trying to learn to use it. also, is there any training on moves ike these or how features work. I believe I have viewed everything I can find on the site or youtube. Thank you, Doug

You can zip the file or upload it to your server and post a link to it.

Hey Doug,

Which are you wanting? You describe two different layouts in your reply.

Do you want the tablet view to have the links above or below the logo image? Currently they are below the logo.

If I understand you correctly, you want them to the right of the logo on Desktop view and above the logo on table/mobile view, correct?

We also have a bunch of articles on RSD to help you get more familiar with how this app works. Our Quick Start Guide is very helpful when getting started. We also have a new step-by-step tutorial which will walk you through transforming a static site to a responsive one that is perfect when you are just starting out. http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/1430

If you are a visual based learner, a new tutorial has been posted that breaks down the creation of a responsive page in just 5 steps. This article is unique as it includes 8 instructional videos. Check it out at: http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/1449

You can see what I have now. What I was trying to do was have the links list on the lfet side of the page when in full view and under the logo when I move to tablet or phone view. The idea was to make the page look exactly as it does now (for real - http://www.backyardbears.com ) then at tablet level maybe set the links list under the logo 3 or 4 wide, then as you move to smartphone level have the list 2 wide. Thanks for the list of training ideas I will use all of them. I have been through the Quick Start Guide completely before spending a 45 minute training segment with Adam. I have also been through 8 instructional videos in 1449. I have not been through the Step by Step tutorisl 2430 so I will dig into this right away. backyardbears.com is a static site so this is exactly what I am going to do.
Thank you

What you are looking to do here is covered in http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … out-maker/ Which walks you through how to use Push/Pull. :P

What I did was removed the extra columns you had the links in and made them one column. Then I moved the links column to the left of the logo and set a push of 9 spans.

Then on the logo column I set a pull of 3 spans. Doing this give you the look you have now.

Lastly, at the first breakpoint, I simply removed the push and pull settings which brought the link column back to where it started, as the first column. Then I centered the images in the column.

Take a look at the attached project.

Do I need to also own Responsive Layout Maker or can this be done in some combination in RSD? I tried to look at the actual work product behind the results in /out-maker but cannot open them with RSD

It can be done in RSD, by following the steps I outlined in my previous reply. Did you review the project file I attached Douglas? It has the results you are looking for. Review it, then try to accomplish the same thing, with your current RSD project, so you know how it was done.
