Hey, all. I'm really excited to get started with RDS, but it's not working like I expected. So I need some insight on something that I'm assuming is pretty basic. I've attached a photo of the layouts I've been tasked to create. It's a pretty basic design in which the mobile version becomes a relatively simple, stacked version of the full-page layout. I've created a basic full-page version, which needs some help.

Understanding how to move the elements around for the mobile size (around 500 or 600px) is where I'm hung up. That, and how do I center everything on the page? Another odd things is I'm able to get the first two elements (photo and title) to group together, but the second group of PDF and PPT links won't group together. I'm sure I'm missing something simple. Here is my RSD file in case you'd like to take a look at it.

Of course I have very little time to put this together, so I appreciate any help you can provide. I look forward to the point when I'm much more adept at RSD and can look back and remember how difficult I thought it was.

Clear your styles on row and subgrid
Row - set your max-width to none
Subgrid
- set your max-width to 640

Hi Joseph,
I'm pretty new to RSD also. I've done a few sites with it now and I'm sure you will enjoy working with it once you get used to it.
I was just sitting here and thought I would try to recreate your layout from the jpg you attached, just for practice.

Not sure if this is what you had in mind but here is what I came up with.

John! You are a patron saint of RSD help!
I'd love to understand how you made this work. For example, I'd like to change the mobile device layout to include the name and photo so they're next to each other. How are you telling RSD to move the elements into new positions and resize? I'd make the photo even smaller and bring the name and credentials to the right of it.

And at this point, I think I owe you a bottle of wine.

Previously, I designed their layouts with the addition of their modifications in Dreamweaver. Here are the most updated versions of what I'm trying to achieve.

How are you moving the elements around and not affecting the other layouts? That's my biggest hang-up. I'm usually pretty good with new software, but I'm struggling with RSD.

Thank you again!

Take a look at the layout tab and set the span count to different amounts to keep the site looking good. This is the most powerful part of a responsive grid. There's a few more tools there that allow manipulation of spans that are also cool.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I've been playing around with the span count. But I'm at a loss as to how I move one element to another place. For example, in the wider layout, I have the photo to the right of the text. When it gets to the mobile layout, I want the title on top of the page with the photo and name/credentials below that, photo left/credentials right. I've tried moving the paragraph into the row, but that maintains its relationship throughout the resizing. How should I be treating the elements to that I can move them around individually into columns and rows?

John was kind enough to put together an RSD file based on what I started. (Many thanks!) At this point, all I need to do is have the smallest mobile layout designed so the photo next and the name and credentials next to each other below the main title. I've attached it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sure it's a simple fix for those who have been working with the software. I'm not one to ask for this level of help without first trying myself, but under a tight deadline, I'm scrambling to get things working. Once this first one is complete and working, I have to make four other variations of this for other doctors' presentations, renaming the page titles, swapping out images, changing text, and modifying links.

Take a look at this.
I moved your paragraph with the name info to the same column the image is in. I then applied some width properties and floated it right.
