What is going on?

Still confused?

I own Foundation which is a copy of original software RSD 1.5 software made for Foundation Framework.

I own Bootstrap which is a copy of the original software RSD 1.5 software made for bootstrap 3 and 4 alpha.

Now today, I pay 69.00 dollars to upgrade from RSD 1.5 to 2.0 beta which includes bootstrap AND foundation with NO coffee grinder framework and a few added components and symbols which the latter two programs have.

Hmmm when I open RSD 2.0 Beta it show the framework grid coffeegrinder as well as in the settings as coffeegrinder components ? Looks to me like a new RSD project just waiting to be saved ? How do I tell its not coffeegrinder framework ?

1. Can I also export, or save, components that I make myself into that library, so that I can find them when I start working on a different project?
2. Can library items be exported/saved and shared with other users? If they can, that would be fantastic!

1. You can, simply click the Export button on the components.

2. Not at this time. But we may allow this feature in a future release. :)

Yeah, thanks, I found it. I hope my question #2 can have a positive response by the next update. :)

One question that many RSD users may ask:
If someone has built a site in RSD, going from desktop down, how will the new RSD handle those projects, when there isn't any grid system going that way any more? Will the users still be allowed to use that approach, or will some sort of conversion happen 'under the hood'?

This was part of the deal by buying both, thats the only reason I bought those two, for the upgrade:
CoffeeCup super-users who own both Foundation Framer and Bootstrap Builder will get the Responsive Site Designer upgrade to V2 for free. Now, we don’t have the details about V2 to share just yet, but by the looks of FF and BB, it will be epic for sure!

Yes I do see that there are no themes to choose for Coffeegrinder RSD 2.0 Beta. I was able to open RSD 1.5 and save one of the themes as a project and then open it in RSD 2.0 Beta but there must be a way to copy those 1.5 themes to the location of RSD 2.0 Beta folder ?

With version 2.0 we have removed Coffeegrinder as one of the supported frameworks. You can still use saved projects created with Coffeegrinder but no new projects can be started with that framework. There are quite a few included for Foundation and Bootstrap however.

So just to be clear Scott

I we have a project that is still being developed,, we can still continue to develop that project in the same way ? (desktop down for example), new pages can be added ? etc but we can still put in the new features

Or

Is it that we can't put in the new features and can only develop that project to completion using the old version of RSD

I can make a new RSD project or I can open a old RSD project. I can copy the RSD 1.5 themes into my themes for RSD 2.0. and open them by "new from theme" and then "my themes" with the breakpoints there.

Its a good title for the post. Lots of fun ahead though YEAH !

I see it as another upgrade to RFF and RBB. But I wonder what will happen with ongoing projects in RSD, as I have asked a bit earlier in this thread, but not got a reply to yet.

But that responsive menu component in Bootstrap4 needs to be fixed! I alerted the CC staff to that right after the programme had come out of Beta, some two weeks + ago.
