I'm really a novice at RSD - I had RLMPro but really never got the hang of it. That being said, I'm reading the forums and watching the video's and I can't figure out why I can't preview changes to my page. I am really at the beginning literally but can't get myself to go much further because although in looks right in RSD when I preview it in a browser, the changes I make are not there. I also watched the video on how to get my menu from Menu Builder in my site and as soon as I put the html code into the html design setting, the menu spills onto my page in a vertical setting. Weirdly enough the menu looks correct when I preview it but not the Unordered List at the top which looks correct in RSD.

You can refrech/reload your page in the browser to see the updated version (Ctrl + F5 on a PC).
I haven't used RSD yet, so can't tell how the oddities below happened, but somehow some things have been inserted in the wrong place, plus you have an "extra" menu on the page.

It might be easiest to remove all your inserted code, and start again. Go back to Menu Builder and add some breakpoints and create a mobile menu version so it will work on all devices. Get your menu "responsivied" and someone around here will be able to help you get it inserted properly.

Thanks! This is why I stopped and cried for help. I think starting over after I make my menu responsive is good advice.

Don't let frustration take you over, you can ask for all the help you need, there's usually someone around who can get you going on the right track.

I will learn this! I appreciate the help. It is frustrating because I am trying to learn how to create a responsive site while also managing my day to day work. I did watch the video Steve and will watch it again when I don't have to stop it every time the phone rings. Maybe this weekend...it's supposed to rain.

Started over - thought I was making progress. When I export for the first time, the export goes smoothly. I added my new responsive menu, saved and exported again and a new folder was created inside the first exported folder with my changes. Should I wait until I am done before exporting? The exported navigation menu folder is now inside an exported site folder which is inside the original exported folder. Maybe this is too difficult for me - VSD was so easy.

That is because you selected the previous folder that you exported to as the export location. That will make a folder within a folder. When exporting, just select the location where you want to export to and not the previous folder. This way when you export, it will overwrite the previously exported site.

Scott - I thought that was what I must be doing but I deleted everything in the folder except the rsd file. I exported again and it exported like it should - a folder inside the export location folder. Then I made a couple of changes just to test it out, exported to the location folder again and it made a second folder inside the exported folder. Argh!

Check the process again. I am sure you are still exporting into the same folder. That is the only way something like that can happen.
