Thanks

It does. But once you have saved a file in the new build, you can't go back. As always.

I would suggest doing a save as first. Or copy your SD file to another location as a backup before you open. I always do this just in case disaster hits.

I installed the update and now a photo batch drop gallery I had downloaded last week and spent many hours populating with photos, adding captions, adjusting the look, etc., now will not do a very basic thing--I cannot drag and drop photos into the photo container anymore. I cannot right-click and add, either. The cursor will just turn into a circle with a line through it.

I downloaded the component and added to a page. Copied and selected 6 images and pasted them. Works great.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I tried now as well. I used over 110 images of all sizes, and it is working.

Thomas, what version of the software did you upgrade from? Was it a much older version?

Works for me also,, even selecting select that little blue icon thingy, "insert picture or insert picture link,

Dragging & dropping from a folder say on my desktop works but first is a box to choose the location of the selected images, once that is done boom in they all go.

I've tried to replicate the problem, but not succeeded. I've also tried to find anything in the component that could have contributed to the problem, but found nothing. The JavaScript file is irrelevant to the working of the project file, and has effect only when the project is opened in a browser.

The time spent adding the Alt text to the Picture elements is not lost as long as those elements are not deleted from the project.

Brian Durfee's question is an important one, and might provide a clue to what's happened. If it doesn't, it may be that the following would help someone track down the cause of the problem.

1. Use File > Save As... to make a copy of the project (.rsd) file under a different name.
2. From that copy project file remove all but about 6 of the Picture Elements.
3. See whether the problem persists in that copy project file. If the problem has disappeared, it seems to me that the problem may be to do with the amount of the computer's Random Access Memory available to Site Designer while working on the project.
4. If the problem persists, zip up the copy project file and post it in this thread.
