Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone had any news on the latest update that dropped?
Bug fixes or new features?

Nice if we had some information from the CC gang before downloading this latest version.

Why not just download it anyway and take a look around.
A bit like exploring a new location it's exciting and mysterious.
As Inger says there are some pretty cool things in there some definatly need further information and may not even be necessary for some but then it's still the good old site designer, I can say it's safe to download no real issues, still great to use give it a try with a test run, it's exciting discovering things.

It really would be nice If they put this info out when the release is made. It's a habit it seems to get a release and hear nothing until someone asks. I really can't understand why they don't at least put it in the product when it ships. Surely they know all that is changed and should be able to just pop it in as text in the help area. I would think they would want users (current and future) to know why they should get the newest release and how to use it.

They have the habit of letting new releases come quietly, and then send out the changelog somewhat later.
I'm trying to create something to show what PHP can be used for, and how to use it in SD. I have a 'first glance' up in my 'component shop'.

I have had a look around but don't really see anything new. Haven't found any mention of PHP either. I can't spend a lot of time searching for some new features so I will wait until they come out with the change log or someone is more specific as to what the changes are. It's kind of funny really. I usually check for updates as the first thing I do when I visit the website then go to the forums, I guess I can skip that and go directly to the forums and watch for a new change log instead.

For PHP it's worth looking at
(a) the Page Manager where one can choose the extension used for individual web pages, and
(b) the types of file one can now create or put in the Resources box.

For me one of the really super changes is in the Element panel which now has a Content switching box. It will quickly be realised how that can be used to introduce special code (e.g. non-breaking spaces, target="iframe-name") directly into Heading, Text and Paragraph elements. The old method of using HTML elements for such things was a nuisance as one had to set the font-family manually, then make the HTML element match surrounding paragraphs or the like etc.

Inger shows a clever use of the Content switching box with PHP 'includes' at https://mock-up.coffeecup.com/f-comps/f … ludes.html (it's also shown for the other frameworks and Frameworkless).

The Element panel now also has boxes to allow Before and After items.

The above are just things I've found and started using. I too look forward to seeing the full list of changes, but wouldn't now want to be without the above items.
