Just downloaded the latest version available

My anti-virus software grabbed it & stopped it loading, claiming it to be a "rare" & "suspicious" file. It has sent the file to the virus lab, for an investigation !!!
This is the first time something like this has happened with CC software
Anyone else had something like this ??

I am sure that the file is ok but a bit loathe to turn off my anti-virus at the moment until I am sure it's ok

I had Avast anti-virus installed (came with some update of another programme), and it stopped the previous version of SDv3. I removed Avast to the bin, and after that I've had no problems.

I eventually decided to disable the anti virus (temporarily) and installed the software.
got a few problems immediately
1/ "save button" greys out so need do "save as" then close re-start and it works ok for a while then the "save button" greys out again
2/ copy/paste greys out (as previously mentioned by someone in a previous thread) needs saving then restarting

3/ now the latest thing is the project has just closed itself. (i wasn't using it, just has it minimized as I checked my e-mails, came back and it had closed itself (when re-opening got the message about oppsadaisy something went wrong etc etc

UPDATE
It has just closed itself again,, all I was doing was change a page name, clicked on done,,, boom GONE

i'm going back to previous version

Hi Adrian
Did that already (after temporarily disabling the anti-virus)

The problems I am getting with the project closing itself is from that download.

I have raised a ticket with CC but nothing as yet.

Got a report back from the antivirus lab to say there was nothing wrong with the software (which I knew already) and it was good to use !!

I have used this antivirus software for years, and this is the FIRST time something like this has happened with any of the CC applications.
I have gone back to the previous version for the moment
will post any info here if the problem gets resolved

I checked the Windows installation file with VirusTotal, which tests with 70 different virus and malware scanners. 66, which included all the major ones, reported the file as clean. The other 4, of which I hadn't previously heard, simply couldn't process the file, and so made no report. They were Alibaba, Cylance. Symantec Mobile Insight, and Trustlook.

Further to my post above, if one has more than one antivirus, antimalware or antispyware program doing real-time scanning, this can lead to false virus alerts, system instability. and corruption of important files according to this maketecheasier web-page.
