Import RLMP file to Responsive site...
I am very new at both applications, but with time think I will get the hang of them. I started a layout in RLMP but cannot figure out how to import it into designer. Thanks in advance for the help. I also noticed in the email about designer it said it would come with something like 1600 icons. I haven't found those yet either.
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,

1. In RSD I import .rlmp files by going to File > Open and choosing the .rlmp file in question.
2. I found the icons in the Windows Users folder. In my case it was in Users > Frank > Documents > CoffeeCup Software > Graphics.

Hi Christopher,
All you have to do is open RSD and Select Open>Navigate to the RLMP file and open it. It will then convert it to an RSD file and you can edit it from there.
The icons will be under Elements>Font Icon.

I am looking for the 1600 icons that come with RSD as I am remaking a simple website (originally made with VSD). I never bought Responsive Layout Maker Pro, so I don't have the RLMP icon files to import. I got RSD at the end of July and am very impressed with it. My RSD site is not online yet.

Use the Font Icon Element Phil in RSD. Under the Glyph drop down, you can find many different font icons to choose from.

You should note that while you can open an RLMP file in RSD, it does not go backwards. So once you open the file in RSD and save it in RSD, you will still be able to open the RLMP file in RLMP, but you will not be able to open the RSD file in RLMP.

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

Thanks, Scott. That worked.
For those very new to RSD (like me), here is an over-explanation: Go to the Elements menu, click on Font Icon, which will insert a standard coffeecup icon. To change that standard icon to something else, go to the Design menu and use the Glyph drop down item to select one of many other icons to replace it.

Is there a way to customize Font Icons. I got a positive answer from Scott - but not sure if he really wrote YES or NOW.
I just want a simple answer if it is possible to do this within a RSD 2 template.

I think it depends on what kind of customizing is in mind.
Selecting a font icon, and experimenting in the various sections of the Design panel will show that a wide variety of adjustments can be made. I would check particularly Typography, Dimensions, Background, Border, Effects, and Filters & Blend Modes.
I don't know of any facility in RSD2 for changing the picture in a font icon except as above. Outside of RSD one can, of course, make one's own font icons, as shown by Googling "make your own font icons".
Choosing the icon one wants in the Glyph section can be tricky. I find it easier to select one here, note the name of it, click on the Glyph box in RSD2, and type in the name.
