How to do modal gallery in v4? - Post...

I have tried poking around this forum, and have found links--that won't open properly--about modal gallery creation. (Basically, when I click the links, I get an error message that the page or site won't load. If I try to go to what I assume is the homepage--specifically for sdv3tutorials.com--I get a message that the domain is up for sale. :/) I am currently working on an artist's site. I want to have small/thumbnail images of her paintings & drawings displayed on a main page. When the user clicks on one of those images, there is a larger/full-size one that pops up, with the information (as text) about that painting/drawing displayed with it. Kind of like Lightbox. I assume a modal gallery will do this? If so, is there a tutorial I can follow on how to do that in SD4? If not, how do I integrate Lightbox, or something similar? I'd much appreciate any advice! :)

Try my sharing gallery, URL in my signature. Last time I looked it was online, it opened, and it is not for sale!

I have a modal gallery, it is simply called 'Image Gallery'. Maybe you can use that. The image sizes can be changed.
I made that gallery after getting the idea from Wayan, and I know that he has 'refined' it further. He may pop in here before you know it...

Hi I have popped in, I have had to evacuate to temporary shelter, due to a raging forest fire.
I have many examples of galleries using modals, but am limited at the moment with internet access.
SDv3 tutorials no longer exists.

If you would like a video on how to make one then I can do but it may take a couple of days

I just recently used Inger’s modal gallery for a site. Downloaded it as a component from her sharing site and then customized it. Very nicely crafted with good instructions.

Check it out to see if it is close to what you need.

I clicked on the link, and it said the video had been removed by the user. Take care, & I hope the fire affecting you is contained quickly, and you don't have any damage to your property! :(

Thanks! I just checked it out, & that looks exactly like what I need. I downloaded it, and hopefully will get to try it this weekend. :)
