How to change the "link preview"...
When I send a url link of my site on anything that offers "link previews" (on social media, or email on any apple device) they pick a seemingly random image from my site to display as the preview image. Is there a way to select this image in site designer?
Any suggestions would be really appreciated, thanks!

Yes — the preview image shown when you share your website link is controlled by Open Graph (OG) meta tags in your site’s HTML. To set a specific image, add this line inside the <head> section of your homepage:
<meta property="og:image" content="https://yourdomain.com/path-to-your-image.jpg">
Make sure the image is at least 1200×630 px, publicly accessible, and the URL is absolute (not relative). You can also include optional tags like og:title and og:description for full control over how your link preview looks. Most site builders let you add custom meta tags under SEO or page settings. After updating, use Facebook’s Sharing Debugger or Twitter’s Card Validator to refresh the preview cache.

Ewan, CC is working on a new update of Site Designer that includes features allowing you to select which images and text to display on Social media. Just be a bit patient!

I feel so out of the loop. Where are you hearing this stuff from. Did we all move to a different Slack channel?
