Hi Guys
I bought responsive site designer and love it, but a little worried only 2 months after spending over $100 on RSD you seem to have re-packaged and now going to launch it as Does this mean no updates for RSD in future? A little harsh unless you will be allowing customers who bought RSD to move over to Foundation Framer???? Discuss

Hi Phil,
As the other post says, FF is not replacing RSD. It might be just a little bit and you'll find upgrades to RSD. Be sure to join the CC newsletter, because if there is a cost for a new release, there's almost always a discount, and it is offered in the newsletter.

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

I'll be honest, I still don't know what RSD can do that FF can not with only a few caveats:
It still seems to me, that FF can build anything RSD can, and build it better. I am not cutting RSD, but FF is RSD with Foundation. Once can still do websites in FF without using FF classes, as a mobile up version of RSD.
- FF does have those mandatory page breaks in the GUI to go with the framework's built in classes. But a user does not have to use them and can create other ones.
- There is the chance that a creator can come up with a class name that is the same as one of the included framework class names.
- Larger css and script files (an issue today?)
- Mobile up only. (This is the trend with most frameworks nowadays)

Thanks Phil for answering my question before I asked it.
I (web programing dummy) have RSD and was confused about how RSD & FF differ, but it sounds like FF is basically an update to RSD. I would like to see how this discussion goes.

This app works a lot like RSD, but it is specifically targeted for people who want to make sites using Zurb’s Foundation Framework. It gives you all the power and flexibility of the Foundation 6 at your fingertips through intuitive visual controls.
Another big difference is the mobile-first workflow. This means you will start your projects for smaller screens first and work your way towards the largest screen size. Designing with this technique really helps you examine your content and focus on what is most important.
With RSD, you have the choice between Mobile First or Desktop Down workflow using either PX or EM's
You can also find a brief comparison between the two apps here (Bob posted this on June 20th referenced in my previous post): Foundation Framer vs. Responsive Site Designer.
Determining which one is better for you comes down to how you want to build your site as there are many frameworks out there like our Coffeegrinder, Bootstrap and Foundation each with their own strengths.
