Embedding a website - Post ID 296160

I am trying to embed a website onto one of my Site Designer website pages. I want to embed it versus linking to it because I want to maintain the header, menu and footer of my Site Designer website.

I built my website with Foundation 6.6.3 - Mobile First. I tried to embed a website by using iframe and it said the website refused to connect. I tried with other websites as a test and obtained the same result. Is there an element or component that I could use to do this? If not, any other recommendations?

If it helps, here is the code I entered into the html element:

<html lang="en">

<body>
<iframe src="https://threeoaksvineyard.com/tovpics" width="400" height="200"></iframe>
</body>

Googling "cannot embed another site in iframe" shows that the problem is caused by the settings of the website one is trying to load into the iframe.

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc … me-Options gives information about the settings involved, but I would have to leave to others any advice on those.

Perhaps it would be easier not to bother with an iframe, but just to create a gallery on the page, showing the pictures (just using links to the original pictures), perhaps using one of the several gallery components available for SD.

I'd like to do that but I'm not sure which one. I will be uploading 40 to 60 pictures a week and I need a way to easily drag and drop them.

I'm not aware of any SD drag and drop galleries, but there may be some that others know of.

My reference to several galleries was to the free ones on the Foundation tab of https://mock-up.coffeecup.com/ , i.e. Tabbed Gallery, Reveal Gallery, Lightbox Gallery, Orbit Slideshow, CSS Grid Gallery, and Masonry Gallery.

Thank you Eric! It looks like what I need to do, I'm just not sure I can grasp all the details. :-)

Who's the host of the site you want to access?

Wow that's an awfull lot of images, especially with the new Google page load speed metrics which they are due to implement, shortly which is also as you know applicable to mobile first only for rankings on Search Engine Results Pages.
This really could have a serious effect on your site ranking regarding page load speeds
I also noticed that your image names are gigantic. That also can have a detrimental effect on indexing for SERP,s
I hope that Eric can help you with the code, I have something very similar to what you might be wanting to do, it is done completely within SD v5 however it does take quite a bit of work to set it up, but once one is set up it becomes quite easy to drag and drop images into a second,third, forth (or as many albums as you require)
We will wait and see if you manage to get it done the easy way, but if not I have a sample demo available to look at and I can do some video how to tutorials if required.

Good luck

I use InMotion Hosting. My website is at the public root level. The Lychee gallery software is installed one level down in a folder called tovpics.
Since I have not been able to use iFrame or otherwise imbed the Lychee gallery, I currently have a link on this page:
https://www.threeoaksvineyard.com/schedule.html
which takes them here:
https://threeoaksvineyard.com/tovpics/public/.
If I could embed the gallery, I could maintain the menu and it would have the same look and feel of my website.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
