I have a big list (though it's just lines of text, centered, with links) and I'm trying to re-arrange them. But when I copy text, and then paste it, it does not keep the link that went with it. How do I get the entire text, as is (with link) to copy over to a different spot in the list?

Thanks,
T.

Hi Tanya,

I have ran into this too. Just use your keyboard shortcut key for copy and paste. CTRL+C for copy and CTRL+V for paste.

CTRL-V just scrolls to the bottom of the list....doesn't paste.

I guess I am misunderstanding what you are doing. Can you provide some screen shots explaining what your doing.

Sorry for the confusion.

Here's the page I'm trying to work on:

http://violaduo.com/sheetmusic.html

As you can see, it's a list. Every item links to somewhere else. I'm just trying to move some of them into alphabetical order, meaning I have to move some up in the list, some down, etc. Does that make sense?

As far as I can see, the lists are in fact paragraphs with text links created (by selecting text and clicking the Link button) while editing the paragraph.

I my understanding of the way in which the lists were made is correct, I would be inclined to do the sorting as follows for each paragraph in question.
(a) I would create a renamed copy of the RSD file, and open that renamed copy by double-clicking on its name. Two copies of the program are therefore open on the screen, which I will refer to as Prog-Orig and Prog-Renamed.
(b) In both Prog-Orig and Prog-Renamed I would have the paragraph open in Edit Mode.
(c) As I edited the paragraph in Prog-Orig to do the sorting, and lost the URL links, I would cut and paste the URLs from Prog-Renamed.

If one were starting from scratch with such lists, the easy way would be to use a UL Link element with Position > Display > Flex (Direction:Column; Justify:Center; Items:Center). One could then juggle the List Item Links into any order one wanted via the Flexbox > Order numbers.

You should be able to click drag the element and move it, or click drag from the inspector as well.

For that list, you should consider making it an unordered list instead of just lines of text in one large paragraph. Also consider making a separate unordered list for each composer. I can confirm that within an unordered list, one can click and drag the list item up and down to reorder it in RSD. RSD also has a pre-built unordered list of links element you can add.
