Class style changes when moving left...
I'm a new developer using RSD 2.5. with blank Bootstrap3 template.
I'm a bit confused about how the breakpoints work. I created a layout at 1200 using custom named classes. Mainly text alignment, bold text, and auto centering of objects in the column. When I shift the slider down to a lower screen width my styles are immediately ignored.
According to the RSD tutorial:
https://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles … esponsive/
Each previously defined style will continue to apply, until it’s overruled at a breakpoint.
Since I only defined one set of styles at 1200 why are they broken when I move the slider? I expected only that the container cells would scale down but nothing else would change. What is wrong?

Styling works from mobile up
so you apply all styles to the left of the first breakpoint (not on it) so you apply all styling sizes etc from slightly to the left of the lowest purple breakpoint, the styling then applies all the way up, if you then want to change the styling.sizes etc at another breakpoint you can then apply the new styling/sizes etc which will then apply those stylings up to the next breakpoint , or you can just let them run again which will then apply until the next breakpoint, where you can then either apply new styling or just let it run and so on and so forth.
I do believe that the tutorial you are working from, is a very old tutorial, and works from Desktop Down (which no longer applies to the new RSD(Bootstrap or FF) so perhaps that's where the confusion lies.

That is unfortunate. Trendy as 'mobile first' is, some projects - such as WBTs still target desktop first. I see no reason why it can't be bi-directional. In any case toggling breakpoints off is supposed to allow style setting at any point and it doesn't work i.e. still forces mobile first.

Mobile first is mobile first, its not trendy, that's the way of it in BOOTSTRAP FOUNDATION FRAMER RSD & it's way way better than desktop down in all sorts of ways
Of course toggle breakpoint works, but of course also you still have to set the styling at all other breakpoints that were disabled.

I have a video about using the breakpoint toggler It's a very simple layout, but showes the principle of using the toggler. If it would be helpful for you to see maybe start to get used to RSD (using Bootstrap builder) let me know I will put it up

The unfortunate bit is not mobile first, but that CC has not replaced the old instructional videos. The video in question here was made about 2.5 years ago, when there was an older verion of RSD that used a framework called 'Coffeegrinder' that did indeed work desktop down. There will still be people around here who use the older version (1.xxx), and maybe someone could send you a template, so that you actually could follow the old video. I have such templates at home, but I'll not be home until maybe tomorrow.

What is a WBT?
If you are recreating a website with RSD, it will not be difficult to do so, because you will know what the mobile, and desktop should look like, then just start with the mobile. It seems counter-productive, but it is greatly beneficial to do mobile-first. Its easier to add to the screen flow from mobile first, than taking away as you go desktop down. Maybe that changed with css grid. From a design perspective, starting with the bare minimum needed for simple interaction focuses you to promote the core information of the website. Its also a permanent reminder that it doesn't matter how fancy your desktop page is, if someone can't find the same info they want as quickly in a good mobile site, they will move on and bounce. Once you start doing it, it will be easy.

WBT radio station? World Blackjack Tournament? Honestly, I've no idea. No CC programme has such an acronyme, none of the CC templates either, I think.

Web Based Training? That would normally be viewed on a desktop or laptop.
