A problem arose with my SD the last time that I used it. All twelve pages have light blue highlighting over the whole pg like the whole container for the pg is selected. If I hover over and select a paragraph or an image or anything then the whole pg doubles down on the selection and instead of transparent blue on the whole pg it then is a very solid blue selection color on the whole pg, when I take the curser away or un-hover then it goes back to the transparent light selection color on the whole pg. I am still able to use the application and make changes and they work and it appears correctly when uploading the changes and checking them. I have attached pics of the light blue whole pg selection problem and also the more solid double down on the selected rendering. I've tried lots to get rid of the selection problem, any suggestions?

So it's either the opacity for the page colours or the sections colours or the elements colours that is set when on hover??
or it's the z-index
or one of quite a few more things that could be causing that.

You could check the settings for 'In State' on the Style panel, if for the 'body' it says Hover, Focus, Active or anything other than Regular. If one of those states makes the screen blue, then you'll know what to change.

It might be worth checking whether the same happens when a new project is created. If it does, I would try the following.
1. Go to Actions > Preferences.
2. Click on both 'Revert to default' buttons.
3. Click on OK.

Hi Frank

Can you explain to me what is supposed to happen when clicking those buttons "Revert To Default" because for me nothing apparent seems to happens, except the canvas background and the outline colors revert to the default colour

Well, what if Greg has given the canvas a blue background colour by mistake...?

To Inger the styles settings is to regular, I checked that, to Frank I opened an old different site and that one did not have the problem, is that a sufficient test or do I need to try and make a new project for the test, but I also went to the preferences before checking and set them to default, so that does not seem to be the problem. I'm now going to start investigating Wayans suggestions. I think I first started looking at Wayan's suggestions and they were appearing to be normal or set right, I will look at them again because he covered lots of territory with his suggestions. Thank you all for all of the replies.

In regards to opacity changes, will one be able to see a change while sliding the opacity adjustment, or does it have to be saved to see changes in the view, also the blue translucent does not appear on the actual view and does appear on the working app view. It is seeming to me that the application has become corrupted and needs to be reloaded.

Hi Greg.

Yes, your test is sufficient, and suggests that the application itself is not currupted, but, of course, there is no harm in reloading it: it might help.

My suggestion arose from the fact that this is happening just within the application, and that you are "still able to use the application and make changes and they work and it appears correctly when uploading the changes and checking them."

If the project (.rsd) file has somehow got slightly corrupted:
1. it may be worth going back to a backup of the project file if you have one;
2. if you don't have one, or the earliest backup has the same problem, it may be that the CoffeeCup team can help.

PS. Opacitly slider changes show on the canvas before any saving occurs.

I retried sliding the opacity and could see it changing on the canvas so my earlier report on that issue was incorrect, thank Frank again for his reply. I right clicked on the canvas on the app and went to select and selected the body, so the whole body was selected. Seems to be hung up on the whole body being selected, I can not deselect the whole body if I go to the inspector can not seem to select anything else but if I select something on the app canvas like edit picture that selection seems to go while the previous body selection stays, so it is not clearing out. This is telling me that the app is not working correctly in as it is hung up on the body select which is yielding that translucent blue on the whole body of the app canvas. I guess that it is now figuring out how to release the body select that it is hung up on. Usually hung up does not allow any further action because of being hung up, this is a hang up that does not hang up, if that makes any sense.
