We actually need the same option for just submitting the cart without payment, just the totals for a pool company that will just plan ahead for the pre season pool orders but bill onsite once the job is done to make sure that all the chemicals ordered were actually needed.

We have been looking all over for a cart that doesnt charge and this would be great as we love to support coffeecup software.

Just need the option to submit the cart to our email for payment later, no personal payment info collected other than name, email and total cost.

Alright, please add me to the list of those who NEED the C.O.D. option in the shopping cart. I plan on using this program to design on-line ordering of take out orders for several restaraunts and a few other businesses and they all would like the option for the customer to pay with that green stuff (you know we used to carry it in our wallets, CASH!).

Please put this on the MUST DO list.

Count me in too

My daughters business is wedding flowers I need to be able to accept orders over the net and allow for cash/cheque payment on delivery or collection of real flower arrangements that can't be posted as well as the ability to accept credit card payment for mail order (silk flowers only)

Seems a simple fix ? so come on guys at least post a reply

Only using the demo and I wanna buy ...... this would make it the ideal purchase for a small business

This is a feature we are considering adding to a future version. Right now we are concentrating our efforts on items like Taxes, Shipping and customizing styles.

I'm very glad to see that more others request this feature...

COD is more convenient for more potential buyers nowadays...btw...the Google just rise the fee for the merchants that use the Google Checkout online payment system on their website.

So, please add this feature asap...I'm another one, member of the users list, that demand badly this feature :)...

The COD could be added like a custom payment option but this require some medium programming skills and time to understand how the Shopping Cart files are connected and how they working.

I just bought Shopping Cart Creator for a client that is VERY technophobic, but he really thought that the SCC was very easy to use. He doesn't want any online payment methods, so for now I have left them blank. An e-mail or COD option would be great for him and would really open up the software to its full potential (for my client anyway).

As Google Checkout is only available in two countries, neither of which is New Zealand, and kiwis haven't really got into Paypal, I too won't be buying this product till another, more flexible, payment option is available. A shame, because it's a great looking system.

For what it's worth, our current on-line "shop" is an html form held on a secure server where our customers can feel safe putting their credit cards through. There are heaps of options available but we use this one: http://www.supersecure.co.nz/

If it was possible to have a link on Shopping Cart to this form, we'd buy the product in a flash.

Our other issue, and sorry to veer off-topic, is that our product is hand-crafted cheese and the products vary in weight, making it difficult to be precise on the pricing of each item. Wonder if there is a work-around to this.

Cheers
Jo
