tried to change the root folder like you said and same problem. I do not understand because on SCCP it shows every file is being uploaded and gives me the shop uploaded at the end. I am trying to upload now via coffeecup free ftp.

I understand your frustration. Went through the same thing with settings I would usually use with everything else, but this I had to play with it until it was happy. ha... I had folders in locations they shouldn't have been because of the incorrect paths I tried.
I'm assuming you verified your servers actual root path?

yes they said it has to be public_html/shop. They said for it to show I

"for /shop you'd have to put in an index.html or similar file in /shop for it to show a page "

"That's why its just showing directories, because there's no html file for it to go to "

Carlos the Shopping Cart Creator creates a index.php will load the same way index.html would.

Found this on the HostGator site.
The full path is actually /home/username/public_html/ (where username is your cPanel username) rather than /public_html/ but in most places you will see /public_html/ instead of the full path, since it assumes you know you are in your own home directory.

From: http://support.hostgator.com/articles/c … tml-folder
Also: https://support.hostgator.in/articles/h … olute-path

Hope these help.

It wouldn't, unless you have uploaded the files using this path. Did you do that? Upload using /home/cpanel-username/public_html/shop instead of just /public_html/shop? Replacing /cpanel-username/ with your actual cpanel username. Then try and access your site.

Anyone have any other ideas? Could it still be the protocol setting in SCCP?

I didn't want to move my website again to another hosting provider. Very time consuming and my site stays offline for a days while it gets moved.

What do you currently have the following settings set for?
[Under 'Server' options]
Hosting Provider
Remote Folder

[Under 'Server > Add/Edit > More' options]
Server
Protocol
Port

Thanks Gunsmoke... I know i'm not the best at trying to 'explain/educate' others with this type of stuff, however I'm trying!
