Just asking about taxes being past to paypal when I only collect taxes in one State. Since cart does not pass any info but cost and shipping to paypal.

You have to set the taxes up in SCCP for them to be passed on to PayPal. Set it for the state you collect taxes in. Make sure that the products that you collect tax on in your state are marked as Merchandise and taxes will be calculated upon the customer choosing the state you set up taxes in.

To help illustrate:

The first image shows that I have only PA set to collect taxes for sales.

The second image show that the product is set to Merchandise in the Optional Charges section, this will allow taxes to be added to the products you have to tax. Check with your local Department of Revenue to find out if all products have to be taxed. If you have an item you do not want tax applied to select None instead of Merchandise.

I have all that done except shipping destination and we only use Fedex for shipping. Looking for the settings for customer to choose shipping destination
