I never noticed that but a friend of mine that is not that computer literate commented on it.

I've gotten some of the best "test info" from that type of person... Sometimes being 'computer literate' causes one to overlook things when checking out a program, or site or whatnot.

I ran my 'temp' store past some friends and one thing we all disliked is if you chose the "keep shopping' option when you hit "Buy it now" there is nothing to tell you that the item is in your cart. So the temptation is to do it again and they end up with 2 or 3 of the item in the cart. Some sort of a indicator that the item is in the cart would be very helpful.

That must depend on the template, because mine always shows a list of items in the cart over on the left column. (pneumaticsdepot.com)

CUSTOMER REVIEWS & TESTIMONIALS SUGGESTION

I would like to see a customer review and testimonial option added to the shopping cart pro by products.

I will refer back to an earlier thread that touches on this subject:

What are the chances this could be added into SCC Basic or Pro?

Just a simple suggestion I think, that may have been made before on so many posts.

How about a "CLICK TO ENLARGE" caption for the photos?
You have to hit people over the head with things. State even the obvious. I know, I'm one of them :D Just ask Scott!

Just my newbie 2 cents:
1. It would be MAGNIFICENT if my customers could enter text to have their items personalized - ie, a name to be embroidered or a last name/number to be put on the back of a jersey. I'm currently using a form within the listings, but customers are leery & confused...not a good combination when trying to pry money from their wallets ;)

2. Shipping Cost - regular shipping costs until the order reaches x amount - then free shipping.

3. Ability to click on a "show me link" or something similar to see color options or font options.

I'm running SCCP, if these functions already exists, I haven't found them yet...but they'd REALLY help me out :D

I was just asked to create a shopping cart in spanish.. and had to say 'no can do' so how about selling various individual language modules for the SC pro version. This way if someone needs a language module they could purchase the language they needed individually as an addon. This way CC could sell language addons as they come out over time. :)

Would be nice to able to edit the "normal" pages a bit more. The ability to insert images (without having to use the HTML box) with alignment (left, right, centre) and vertical and horizontal padding for them.

Also if we could be able to use 3 different images for each product (thumbnail, normal, bigger) instead of using one and having it resized in the browser.

I only began trying it and the designer pro a couple of days ago and was really impressed. So I bought them both. Takes all the hard work out of it all.

It shouldn't be opening anything in a separate browser window when you click on the product images within the product details page. When you click those when on the shop site, it should be opening a small window to allow you to view the image which is the desired effect. If that's not what is happening check to see if you have scripts being blocked by a browser addon or your settings.

Sorry, I should have explained myself better.
It would be nice instead of using just one picture that appears as the product picture in the Category list, on the product page and in a pop-up window, to use seperate pictures.

Ok I'm bobbing my dyed blonde head here lol. Trying again to figure out just what it is you mean. You can have up to 5 pictures for each of your products and when you open one of them it allows you to cycle through them all in the opened zoom window. I'm not sure what else you mean sorry. If you open the one picture you can hit the right or left side (or arrows at the bottom, can't remember which way for sure lol) and you can go from one to the other without having to reopen the window each time.

The category list and product page only have one image which when clicked opens the product itself, so I'm not sure why you'd want more than one image for those, but maybe I'm missing the point completely lol, it wouldn't be the first time.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
