Testimonials tool

A tool to allow the input of testimonial quotations and be able to select formatting options including a linear display of testimonials or a rotating testimonial.

This would be similar to the ad-banner, I guess, but would have fields for name, title, subject, photo, testimonial-body.

It could have an auto-advance or manual advance (button) mode or, as stated, a linear display.

Formats could include simple quotation marks or fixed/scaled 'boxes' for the testimonial.

I 2nd That! I was just about to post something about a testimonial creator and I saw this post. I stress to several web clients the need to add testimonials to their site, but it is labor intensive if the webmaster has to add any new "static" code to their site every time a new testimonial comes in.

The ability to have a user add a testimonial, then the website owner review the testimonial to approve or deny would be a great tool.

It would be nice if you could do the following with a testimonial tool:
1) Simple Testimonial/quote creator
2) Create a "5 Star" review tool
3) Add user images to the testimonial for a personal touch.

Here is an example of a testimonial tool that is currently on the web for an example of what a testimonial tool would create:

this almost sounds like form builder reporting to a database and pulling the info back out for page display with php.

Ya except it's done more easily without the need of dealing with databases lol. I have to agree with the others, that this tool would be nice but.... it's basically the same as a Guest Book system, so maybe the 2 types of setups could be rolled into one program? They are so very similar and that would be awesome to just include setups choosing which type of thing you want, Guestbook or Testimonials, or just toggles of what features to include without dealing with whether it's a Guestbook or Testimonial giving you the reign to call it whatever you want on the page.

Could then do toggles (with setups of some sort for some of these options) for the star rating system, pictures, and so on to choose what to include as well as the theme of course.

This would be a great piece of software killing 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak.

That pluspanda one looks pretty interesting though too, I just hate things that are webbased though. Too many places I have to go to do things lol and if the nets down at all I can't do any of them so I don't care for net based programs very much.

I agree the two could be rapped into one. It would be nice to be able to tie it in with WAM or have a secure page for people to post to. Share ideas and thoughts. Oh! now its a forum to!

What size was the stone that killed the Red Wing Black birds?
