I would like to set up an online store where orders can be generated online and sent by customers to us but without any money changing hands. Our physical store has different pricing tiers based on volume, so our pricing is different for different customers. Because of this we don't want to publish our prices online, but it would be very nice for customers to be able to place orders online that we would then bill them for later. Is this possible? Thanks!
How are users going to know what their price is going to be?

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Why not duplicate items and price on minimum quantities, sell by those quantities.
Example
Product A qty 50 price Disc. Client wants 150 buys three batches. A batch is one item. It maybe possible to use the Form builder as the E Commerce system using regular expressions and display rules.
If you only deal with established customers then a form could be the go, also used for potential customers to contact you.
I agree with Eric customers would like to know prices before an order is placed unless there is already a contract in place

Using Shopping Cart Creator Pro you could publish your shop as a catalog rather than a shop and then use Web Form Builder to make an order form which details the client, their account number and their product order codes (along with whatever other details you might require).
That way, you can showcase your products on-line and entice interest etc. but at your end, you can control the billing to suit the agreement you have with each client, and apply their unique price break / discount / deal price etc. before you issue your invoice.

Thanks for the input guys!
To answer the question posed by Eric and Prism - "How are users going to know what their price is going to be?" We're a wholesale company, and most of our customers are billed for their orders and make weekly orders that they either pick up or we deliver. We don't have any customers who would be placing a first time order with us through the website. This is more for our established customers. Ideally I would like this system to be used by our salesmen as well as customers to simply the ordering process for existing customers. Does that help explain things?
I like where you're going with that, Dave. That's sort of what I had in mind. Do you know if forms created through the form builder can be inserted into the shop?

Yep they can, they don't integrate mind you, so you would need to create a page or set the form to go to another page so they know the form was successfully sent, but other than that it works pretty slick in the Shopping Cart Programs.

I would use the catalog feature of SCCPro to showcase your products and then have an order form made using CoffeeCup Web Form Builder which requires the client to fill in their details and account number etc. along with their order.
You can create a drop-down list and even create several using categories as a header etc.
Then, when the form comes in to you, you place & pick the order and bill your client as usual applying their discount/pricing structure to their order and the invoice.
If I understand your requirements correctly, this is a very good way to implement the system and utilize two great CoffeeCup applications to assist you

Hi,
I've created a form that can be used with a catalogue to place an order as suggested by Dave, but I only want it to pop-up if the customer is on THIS page and no others so I can't put it on the index page. I don't have a separate .html page for the catalogue, just the subdirectory where I put it. So where do I put the code for the form now?
The catalogue is located on www.emgeetrading.com/order .
Thanks!

Add a new page to your shop and place it on there.

Thanks Eric,
Do you mean add another .html page and put the catalogue on that in an iFrame? The form is supposed to be an automatic pop-up, but I don't want it to pop-up when someone is on another page so how do I control that?
Thanks again for your help.
