I believe the proper term for this is "Vaporware". Unfortunately, I've had to move on with my current clients. I couldn't hold them back any longer. This might be something I can look at again in the future.

I'll give 'em a year before calling it vaporware... I still believe. :P

Heck, I grew up a Detroit Lions fan. I can believe in just about anything... :/

Really! Really! A company the size of coffee cup does not spend this much time and resources for a product not to be deliverable.

lol,, tongues hanging out,, vaperware,, lol
actually the beta testers have run the pro version. Since it has reached that stage, a "pre-release", you know it has had many hours of development time invested and it will make the front page when the story(code) is complete.

Funny that I have that said "vaporware" in my clutches as we speak making sure nothing else needs fixing on it... hmm wonder where I got this vaporware? It must have just materialized all by itself?! :P

It's comin' guys and trust me it's worth the wait.

I agree it's been too long, and I agree that the hype got started too soon, but...... there were some unforseen things that needed fixing that you cannot possibly plan for and that's the nature of programming so if you can't have patience, move on, those of us that wait will be glad we did lol.

Having said that, although I do think the hype was started too soon, I also know that CC has a good track record for bringing out software with very few general bugs in it like many other companies do. They don't release things that should have had super major fixes prior to the release and then expect all their users to test it all for free like "many" companies do. Hence we wait because some things we found during the testing needed some very large fixes that weren't planned for and couldn't have been so it's worth the wait guys.

I'd rather have a fully function product, ESPECIALLY when it's dealing with my hard earned cash and that of thousands of other internet users purchasing from us, than having to try to patch up bad software issues that caused trouble for my customers.

It's all good, and it will be great when it's finished and has even more features later, just gotta want it bad enough I guess, and I don't want to pay someone else to host my stuff, I want to do it myself, this will let me do that :)

The way things are here these days, you could almost consider it the 'late' state of Michigan... :(

Aint that the truth. The wife and I had to move out of state for work.

Well, I got lucky -- hit all the numbers for an early retirement, effective 3 years ago. Pay's not quite as good as workin', but the hours are great! :D
