Great informative post. I just began creating my 10th store with SCC, and as a web developer and hosting provider would never switch from SCC. I have tried many of the other platforms and needless to say, it is easy for me to sacrifice a few minor conveniences for the sake of simplicity. If I was to rate SCC, I would argue its dominance if for no other reason than the simplistic (yet ever evolving) feature set. :D

Just wait and see just how much the pro version has actually evolved the program. :/
