Hi Everyone,

I'm confused but often technically challenged. I was a Freebie and now am a Webbie with a real URL and using VSD. I'd like to replace / remove my old refrences that is now an alais to my URL.

Nothing is broken but I want to fix it anyway.

Is there an s-drive for dummies out there that explains when you use Streams and when you use storage and when you just use FTP to upload the files instead of VSD one click publishing?

Feel free to simply "tell me where to go"

I think people are missing the point of s drive simple for us dummies  me included

inbuilt ftp in vsd, web form lite, etc etc etc so you dont need to do anything else.

website goes to site, if you have a blog or similar it goes to stream, and funily enough forms go to forms etc, the inbuilt ftp in each program sends each one to the correct place.

Have a look at wedding cars in my sig, its all on s drive

Thanks Viv,

That makes it a lot clearer. Once I make a few pages in the new space it will make even more sense.
So basically tis is a way to organize groups of stuff into their own space. I will have to play wtih it a bit with VSD and see if it can still find what I am using.

I appreciate the tip for searching the forum too but I can rarely find what I am looking for. It's not that it isn't there I just don't use the right key words. I used to have the same probelm with the Yellow pages too.

Thanks again.
