Hi Scott,

Really looking forward to this program. I hope no one has asked this already, but do the beta testers of Designer get the Basic or Pro version?

Keep up the great work CC, we love you in England! :)

Hi Scott,

I'm looking forward to this Cart Designer software...just hope the announcement isn't too late in UK time.

Glad to hear this will work with the new Pro version as well as CCSC 3.6. On the subject of the new Pro version, if you need any more beta testing then please let me know as I have a couple of sites that are crying out for the new functionality being promised and I've stalled the development of these sites until I can upgrade my 3.6 to Pro.

Many thanks

I love the way Coffee Cup has done it's business up to now, built on the integrity of great support and solid products.

There are probably better ways to achieve good initial sales levels and not pi** off users who have waited patiently.

IMHO, if the products are ready for release, just do it. Don't play games.

Hi Owen,

My 2 cents on this: it is not about good initial sales levels. From the amount of work you guys have seen us put into Shopping Cart Creator, you know we are in this for the long term. It is about what Scott said in his initial post, "If you take part in this limited release, you get to shape the future of this program..". A slightly smaller group of people is easier to work with, that is why we wanted to limit it.

However, considering the feedback in this thread and the emails we received about this, we are now considering to still do a limited edition, with the truckload of awesome complementary resources, but remove the quantity limit :D

Sounds better?
The future of web layout has arrived and it's called CSS Grid. CoffeeCup helps you to get ready with a free guide, the Grid Builder app plus cool demos & themes.

Hi Bob. If I can also throw my two cents in. I feel that this initial limited release would be far better, if instead of limiting the physical numbers available, you instead make the product available for a 48 hour period only. This would allow those of us that live in different time zones around the world, to have a chance to purchase the product. If people are out at work during those variance in time zones (or even asleep in bed), at least you will be giving them the opportunity to purchase the product. That way the deal is fairer on everyone.
