Well, at least you have seen that it works the way I did it, with an extra page for each person.

I'm just guessing here, but since you are using a very large image, and the coordinates go way outside the size of a mobile screen, it won't work, and besides, in order to have an image map working on a regular pc or mac, you need to mouse over the bit that holds the link. Since you haven't made any actual links, just using the title tags, it may be the reason for not working. Also, on the mobile devices you have touch screens, so a regular link, like the one I suggested, will work. As said, this is only my half-qualified guessing. I have asked the CC staffers about it but not had any replies yet.

Works here too. And much quicker than my suggestion.

Eric,
That works.
So you just changed it to a tooltip?

That's what he did, and he removed the href bit from each name, so that it is not a link.

Yes I used a tooltip type jquery plugin.
This required me to add class="tooltip" to each area tag. Then as Inger pointed out I removed the href="" to keep it from refreshing the page on click.
You can grab the source files from my page or grab them from here. You can find all the customizations there also.

Eric
Thanks.
Since I haven't identified all the people yet, I guess it might be a little difficult to use Image Mapper with the modified source?

Do you have the html editor? It's replace feature makes it really fast to alter the html. It probably took me 30 seconds.

Having trouble getting it to work. Here's what I did
1) Viewed your source and copied it
2) Pasted it in Notepad
3) Saved as a html file named testtooltips.html
4) Downloaded Tooltipster
5) extracted the files
6) Uploaded the testooltips.html to the web site
7) Uploaded the respective CCS & JS files to the website
8) Tried to load the website http://cjstj-1964.info//testtooltip.html
Nothing happens.
What did I do wrong?
