I am using HTML Editor build 305. I am having a number of difficulties which I would like your perspective on.

* When I have data in tables, I am having difficulty obtaining and changing the value of the tables and the cells within the table.

* Should I be able to adjust the heights and widths of cells within tables by clicking on a border and dragging. This is not working either.

* In the visual mode, I can not highlight lines of text by scrolling the cursor across the text (a la most other programs). I can click in a line of text and the cursor appears, but when I drag across the text, nothing happens.

* The same happens as above within table cell values. I can double and triple click to highlight words and paragraphs, but can not drag to highlight.

Can you help, this is very frustrating.

Are you using the built in table function? That function allows you to size the table exactly as you want it. Also, I want to be clear are you using the visual module in the html editor, or are you using the Visual Site Designer.

I have tried the built in function as well as tables that were already inherent in the site prior to using the HTML editor. I am using the visual side of the HTML editor. Just posted another issue that leads me to believe I have a bad version. Beyond the items listed above, I am seeing saved files show up in the server list with incorrect names and, upon deleting a file, have had the server list disappear, requiring a shut down and restart of the software to get it back.

Yea, sounds like you may need to redownload the editor.

I'm seeing similar issue; I created a table using Insert > Table Designer, and established background and text colors, sizing, etc. When placed in HTML Editor Visual mode I cannot highlight a group of cells. If in the course of editing I wish to change b/g color of a block of several cells in the table, I see no way to accomplish partial color change in the visual mode.

I think it would be nice to get that table back into Table Designer to modify the cells, or to have similar manipulation capabilities within the Visual mode of HTML Editor.

Same issue if a block of cells needs the same font changes... must highlight by keyboard; i.e. place cursor w/ mouse and Shift + Arrow to highlight. Attempting to highlight content of multiple cells is an all-or-nothing situation; highlight one cell, or get the entire table. Doesn't seem to be any way to highlight on row of cells for edits.

I did try copying from the Visual Editor by clipboard into the opened Table Designer, and that sorta works; the colors and text are imported, can be manipulated, but the result when returned to Visual Editor requires another round of resizing, etc.

Perhaps I'm missing a technique here... anybody have suggestions?
