Hello! I am new to CoffeeCup. I used the free version for a while and just now decided to purchase the full version. I searched the forum to find out how I can get text to wrap in my editor workspace. I could not find anything related so I am asking in a new thread. Right now I have to scroll way far to the right to see all of my text and then scroll all the way back to see the beginning. Is there a setting somewhere that I can turn on so that my text wraps in my window? Thanks!!!

In the view menu, you can toggle the word wrap on and off.

And under Tools > Preferences > Customization, you can refine further how you want the word wrap to work for you.

EDIT: Also, run the Code Cleaner (under Tools) with your preferred width of the document to clean up what you already produced without word wrap.

If you do the toggle in the View menu that will only work for that page, and if you do it in the settings, then it will work for all pages open "after" that, many times it won't take effect until you reopen the pages. :)

Thank you for your feedback. I will try some of those options. I like the code clean idea because I have a lot of files that were created with another program and I am tired of hitting enter to force the wrap. It seems that some of those options should have come up when I searched CoffeeCup help but I got nothing with a "word wrap" search.

Yes it can be a bit annoying. I'm sure on earlier versions it used to once you changed it in preferences just did what it's supposed to. I mean what is the point of having a line a million miles wide.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
