Hello,
Set default install folder to Program Files
Set default docuent folder to user/documents.
Surrent settings are boring with Windows 11 and some anti-virus programs.

What do you mean by 'boring'? Not interesting, tedious? Ennuyeux?

Since the recent update (v17.0 build 876) keyboard shortcus ctrl-T now pops up Template / Layout chooser rather than Insert > Target. Ctrl-T is still shown as the shorcut for this under the Insert menu.

I use thhe keyboard shortcut for Insert Target very frequently and am finding this anomaly very irritating and slowing my work rate.

'Insert Target' in the Insert menu enters
<a name="xxxx"></a>
As this seems not supported in HTML 5 (e.g. https://html.com/attributes/a-name/ , https://www.w3docs.com/snippets/html/wh … butes.html), perhaps the anomaly lies in its not being removed from the Insert menu.

Change the default browser to anything but Internet Explorer. Microsoft wants everyone to move to Edge. Here's the official announcement: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/announcements/internet-explorer-11-end-of-support. Most folks have moved to Chrome, Chromium, or other browsers that have "Chrome Inside" such as Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, and even Microsoft Edge. The only major browser not based on Chrome or Chromium is Firefox, which is still worth testing for. Personally, I like to test on Chrome Canary - https://www.google.com/chrome/canary/.

But let's just all say goodby to IEl and bow to our new masters, Chrome. :)

The websites that I support, show a pretty even division between Chrome and Firefox by end users. I do use Firefox due to its safety. I test with Edge and Firefox, support a Wordpress site, heavy use of CSS3. MCP on Microsoft servers, IE is truly dead, internal sources say support for any level other than Edge will vanish quickly!

I would like to submit a couple of feature requests. These are features my current HTML editor I use which quite a bit. Consider the line: Blah Blah <A HREF="https://xyz.com"> Stuff</a>. Both actions are available by putting the cursor in the line and the right click menu:
the first highlights the text: <A HREF="https://xyz.com">
the second highlights the text: https://xyz.com

Need to know how to add a new snippet in the snippets tag?

Open the Snippets tab, and at the top, you find an icon called 'New Snippet'. Click on it, and write the code for your new snippet in the 'untitled1.html that opens. Then save it under a descriptive name, and you will find in in the snippet list.
When you want to use it, find the position in the document where you want it to appear, then double-click on the snippet.

I see that you are using an older version of HTML. In the HTML Editor you can change the doctype to HTML5 in Tools-Preferences- General tab (unless you have a very old version of the Editor, from before HTML5 was released in 2014).
In my previous post I'm also showing the charset as utf-8. That is the best one to use.

Another thing is what your computer is set to. Are you actually IN Denmark and are you having a Danish setup in your Control panel for language, keyboard etc? The attachment is showing my setup. You get to the lower one when clicking on the button saying "Endre nasjonal systeminnstilling".

I can tell you that I finally found how to get it working for danish characters. I replaced the HEAD info from my former program with the default from CoffeeCup. So now it is working as I hoped for.
Thank you :-)
