Identifying HTML tag pairs - Post ID...

I'm new to Coffee Cup but quite experienced with a previous editor (HoTMetaL). When dealing with an HTML tag, for example the row tag <TR>, it would be great if there was a quick way to select the entire tag pair, that is, from the <TR> all the way to the </TR>, including all the content in between. Then I could delete or move it all without messing up the surrounding HTML.

There has to be something better than manually scanning the source code, and a dumb text search for </TR> would find the irrelevant </TR> tags from nested tables.

I have searched Coffee Cup's help and the forums, perhaps without knowing your search terms for this, but an answer would help identifying and selecting all kinds of tag pairs like lists and forms which can have lots of (nested) HTML between the tag pairs.

It is a long wished-for feature by many, people have mentioned it several times.

What does "+1" mean? I've been to the referred https://progrower.coffeecup.com/ site, but found no examples or tips related to HTML tag pairs.

+1 means another 'like' for something (FaceBook lingo) ;)

The reason why you haven't found anything about tag pairs is, that the HTML Editor doesn't have that. But we want it to be implemented.

Having recently bought the latest version of html editor I find the lack of this feature a real disappointment.

I've reverted to using Notepad++ which does a great job at matching tags (and it's free.)

I like the Coffeecup editor EXCEPT for the fact that it does not indicate tag pairs.
I am presently using brackets editor for my formatting of my code since it has this feature using an extension and is FREE.
