Files gone from "All Website...
All files disappeared out of "All Website Projects" except the one that was open in the editor.
Now have to reload them.

Hiya Keith,
Are you using ccleaner at all? If so please be sure you're on the most recent version of that program as it was removing the website project file before and they have since corrected that issue. I would recommend checking the Utilities section of the ccleaner settings and unchecking the programs it lists there as I see no reason it needs to remove files from programs at all, at least none of the programs that show up on my list at this time.
If you're not using ccleaner let us know that too, but I'm guessing that's the culprit as we went around and around with the devs on that one for a few weeks before it was discovered that it was ccleaner deleting the file on us

Yes I use ccleaner and the editor is in the list and ticked but I am sure that I have not run it for that to be the culprit.
I ran it a few weeks ago and it did not remove CC files.

Just ran ccleaner with CC ticked - did not remove the entries.
It removed three files:
mru.ini
links.ini
lastopen.dat

hmm ok then you are on the most recent udpated version if it's not removing the projects.ini file. When you navigate to your projects.ini file is it there? Also, if you open that file in a text editor, is there anything in there other than that last opened project?
If it's not ccleaner doing this I would highly recommend opening a support ticket (poor Scott and Mike are going to flip... lol) because that was a horrible thing to find before and it was definitely another program that deleted it so it made it 20 times harder to find as it had that external variable of ccleaner which we didn't catch for quite a while. Hopefully they have some other possible solutions or ideas of what might have caused your issue, after going through mine. Good luck on it.
P.S. I would still highly recommend that you untick the software from the ccleaner list or you'll lose the lastopen.dat file and the mru.ini files which affect what shows up as your last known open files. I love that I can have it open what was left open when I closed it last, and I love the mru list so I can see what the Most Recently Used files were in the program and easily reopen something that I worked on the day before or earlier in the day without having to hunt down the file. Those 2 things are not available if you let ccleaner delete them. Don't know why it's even cleaning program files, it shouldn't ever do that, but it's doing it.
Just my 10 cents on it

Just done it again but left 2 projects this time. It was ok this morning, went out for a few hours, when I came back just 2 projects left. ccleaner has not been used.
Using ver 12.7
Just looked at projects.ini and it just has the 2 projects which are left.

Hiya Keith,
I think you should be putting in a support ticket for things like this as it sounds like you have an issue going on that users most likely cannot help you with or they would have by now. If my fix ain't the problem then CC will most likely need to assist you with it.

I have just opened a support ticket. I mentioned your name.

Don't know if this thread is still active, but here goes. Same thing just happened to me. I'm running version 12.7 build 454. I was at church earlier this evening at a board of directors meeting for a local non-profit, and during our meeting, I used the HTML editor to revise the website. No problem. I shut things down and disconnected from the church's wifi.
I just got home, and went to make some final revisions, and my projects.ini file is history--cleaned out. Here's all that's in it:
[General]
ProjectCount=1
[Project0]
File=
Name=
This is really weird.

Submit a support ticket and let them know what happened. This is something that as users we can not really troubleshoot.
