File dates in Projects/File window? -...

Is there a setting somewhere to have the file date display in the Projects/Files window?
I've spent a good bit of time looking, but see no way to turn this on.
Would be most helpful to be able to view and/or sort by date and such ...

TIA

You will be able to see the latest changes to a file when viewing it in Windows Explorer. If you create multiple versions of a project, you can add a date to the file name or a number representing the version. That is usually what others do. There is no hidden setting anywhere for displaying versions.

Thanks, Inger. That makes sense. It's a bit surprising that the Projects/Files window doesn’t have a date column, though, which would be handy for keeping track of recent changes without needing to switch to Explorer. Using version numbers or dates in filenames is a good workaround for now.

I'm not sure whether the following is what is wanted, but it may help.

If one goes to the 'My Computer' vertical tab at the left of the Editor screen, the columns for each file and folder are 'Name', 'Size', 'Item Type', and 'Date Modified'. If my experience matches that of others, the 'Date Modified' column is easy to overlook: it is hidden until one widens the panel or moves to the right the horizontal scroll bar at the foot of the panel.
