Can anyone tell me how to clone pages? All the Copy command wants to do is either replace the existing page with the copy or...not. I want to be able to clone a page to the same directory (with some kind of '1' or something in the name), then rename it with a unique name.

I'd hate to think that I'd have to jump out to Windows Explorer just to perform this simple task!

Thanks.

I've done it by using File > Save as, and then just opening the first file again in the panel at the left. At least one can do this wholly in The HTML Editor.

If there's a better way, no doubt someone will mention it here.

Thanks, Frank. I had looked at that possibility, but unless I'm missing something, this requires you to open the file first then do the Save As. I was hoping to not have to open the file, but if this is the only way, then I guess I can live with it. It's not too much trouble.

Thanks!

Frank's method is the one I'm using too.

Good morning all,

Not sure if Im misunderstanding something here but are you talking about Duplicate Page? Or are you asking about something completely different?

I've not seen such a command in The HTML Editor, but only in Site Designer.

ohhhhh gotcha yea not sure I haven't used HTML Editor in a while. Seems like it would be a good thing to have added. You should go to the Suggestions for HTML page and post it there. CC Staff come on and check them occasionally.
