Seems to me that FF was more stable during the beta stage,,, has taken me all day (so far) to do 3 pages, which would have taken me a few hours only before, all due to FF crashing, the design pane thingy on the right, greying out and re-starts needed, elements leaping about like frogs in springtime.

Does anyone know what the changes were from 193 to 196? I'm still on the 193 version and I'm weary of upgrading after reading Wayan's problems.

Sounds more like you have some OS issues going on there. Have you tried rebooting? If you have, does this happen with all projects or just one particular project? If just one, upload the file so we can take a look at it.

Build 196 was the release build, and 193 was the last beta version. There were no changes other than the installer between these two releases.

I only have the one project on the go,,(although it is an old project that I am updating,,, all other projects are already up and running.
So far today no problems (touching as much wood as I can find as I type)
Will let you know what happens if it happens when it happens.
