You know how that "last little thing" can eat up 80% of the dev time on the whole project? Yeah...

So all I want to do now (on the AWESOME site I built with RFF!) is add an input box and a submit button so people can sign up for my mailing list. I can add the actual elements, but how do I make them, you know, work?

The site is running phpList so it has a clunky built-in signup page I could use, but it's hideous. I really want to add a submit form right into this cool, responsive contact page. Where can I get a primer on how to do that without cutting and pasting code? (Or am I at the part of the project where I publish the whole site from RFF and then download part of it into a text editor, modify it, and upload it again? Surely there's a better way?)

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Tygger,

Have you thought about MailChimp... you can sign up for free and operate a fair size email list before it starts costing you. Once set up they will give you some custom code that you can put in an HTML Element anywhere on you site. Its about the easiest and cleanest way to do this.

I've considered it. I was hoping to use the one that looks to be forever-free that I can set up on C-panel, but it might be more trouble than the money I'd be saving is worth. Thanks for the reply!
