Ok so I have tried something different,,,

I have made a series of reveals (modal) at various places on a page, they all work great except for when they are closed, they all jump back to the top of the page,, (no matter where they are placed in the page) so the visitor would have to scroll all the way back down to where they were when they opened the reveal window.

Surely it should be possible to have the modal window, close at the position it was opened in,, (ié the actual column that has the trigger button which is used to open the window in the first place . I have looked and looked but could now do with some further advice and assistance.

Thanks in advance for any ideas

Where are the modals actually located within the page when hidden?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Can you share a link?

There are two ways around this:

1. Don't use a link element to close the model, instead use a regular element like a picture or text element (you can still style it as a button) and use the 'button' class on that element. You can see how that works in the Wave Weapons theme: http://rff.coffeecup.com/themes/wave-we … -name.html

2. When using link elements add a href that links to the place of the page that you want to show when closing the modal. You can do that by, for example, adding an ID to a row and link to it with somehting like http://rff.coffeecup.com/themes/wave-we … oard-name. Where #board-name is the ID.
The future of web layout has arrived and it's called CSS Grid. CoffeeCup helps you to get ready with a free guide, the Grid Builder app plus cool demos & themes.
