Stefke, your forms are not finished. There are no settings for where to send the form or who to reply to.

What do you mean Inger?

How to create forms without WFB in RFF?
I want to really formulate without WFB because that is always indirectly via a server

Kind regards

Well it seems to me obvious that Steffek isn't not trying for himself first, it's so simple
select a column click or drag an element into it,, BOOOM there it is,
select the element (example a list container) drag that into a column or container BOOOOM there it goes
select the list item container within the list container,,, click or drag a picture placeholder into it BOOOOOOOOM there it is again
select test or text link or paragraph click or drag that into the list item container next to the picture placeholder,,,,, BOOOOOOOOOOM there that one is.

why cant you do that by now without asking for step by step instructions.
I have made 3 videos for you now,, and a full page working example each one shows those simple steps as part of the video,,, or the example so that means you have either not watched the videos,, or they are too complicated for you to follow, in which case say so and I would have tried to make them more simple to follow.

That's exactly what I'm doing, or did anyone think I knew all this from before? ;)

I mean that you haven't added your (or whoever the recipient is) mail address in the settings. If you don't add an address there, the form won't work, because the server will not know what to do with the form.
Also, in order to easily reply to a form, you need to choose the 'email' field, so that the programme picks the address that the user enters.
Open the form in WFB, click on Settings (the cog wheel). On the General tab give the form a name (you have two, so it would be best to call one e.g. 'contact', the other one 'reservation' or something.
Next open the tab Notifications and add the recipient's (your?) mail address in the To field. Also, select the option given in the Reply-to field.
Then he tab Confirm-Email, choose the option you find in the To field. The From field, both on the Confirm-Email and Notification can be filled in with an alternate mail address, e.g. if you have a specific mail address for the form submission and want to send replied to the users from a different address.

Every form, and also every website has to go via a server. If I were you, I would prefer a form created by WFB to some 'home made' stuff. It has to do with securities.

OOOh I see sorry then I'm misunderstood (actually that exactly what everybody does , or should do) Even I with all these years behind me, still sometimes can't get something to happen right or do't know how,, I then ask,,, but not before fully exploring or exhausting all the recourses and knowledge I have.

I for one do not fully understand your thinking with this one.
all forms are directly by a server regardless of if within RFF or WFB.

If you cannot yet manage to insert a simple element into a column or container, then to do a form from within RFF directly,,, then do all the stuff needed AFTER EXPORTING (because that's the only way to do it from within RFF) adding PHPfiles etc and all the other stuff needed to make forms work then I am afraid you will be totally lost in the middle of the dance floor, thats like learning to do quick step before you can even waltz

I'm looking at the project file that Wayan sent you, the 'steff-project.rff'.

1. You have 2 blue breakpoints which you can't move or remove. They are default for the Foundation grid system. In many cases they are enough. It depends on your design whether you want/need more or not.

2. There are also 2 white breakpoints, which must have been set by yourself or Wayan. If you find the left-most blue breakpoint not to be narrow enough, you move the slider to the left before you start the design. The same with other breakpoints that you can set yourself, move the slider to where you want one and click the + on the white circular background to the left of all breakpoints.

3. Setting breakpoints is NOT to be done at any pre-determined widths! There are so many screen sizes out there, so that if you would want to accommodate for them all, you'd get the whole row filled with white dots, and it would be one hell of a job to adjust the design for them all!

4. It's the design that decides where you need breakpoints. With RFF you start from phone size and move up to wider. If you think you need a breakpoint to the left of the first blue one, create it before you start your design.

5. One thing you already do, which is very good, is making a drawing of what you want your page to look like. Start with the phone size, and typically, all the page elements are positioned below each other on phone screens. Apply that design in RFF.

6. (Remember, if you want items which are first placed below each other, to pop up beside each other on larger screens, then use ONE row with several columns. Set them all to 12 spans to begin with.)

7. So, when you have got your phone design right, move the slider towards the right until the design looks stretched. Then you will have room for some of the elements beside each other. Click on that + again, and you have a new breakpoint. If you have a drawing for that 'middle' design, create it in the programme. The white breakpoints can be moved, in case you need to adjust the position a bit.

8. Repeat #7 as many times as you need until you have a design that fits a normal or large PC screen. You can actually set as many breakpoints that you like, but the less you have, the better. With a lot of breakpoints it means adjusting a whole lot if you find that you want to change something. Typically some 2-4, (5 maximum!) breakpoints should be enough for most designs.

9. If you find the need to remove a breakpoint, select it and click the 'minus' sign on a white background, to the left of all breakpoints.
