incorporating stream code into...

What success have people had incorporating the Stream code into responsive pages -- it's "default" is to produce pages spanning 6 columns. Ideally one would like it to be modified so the text comes in under the date, and the right side "widgets" disappearing entirely, and it flowing responsively down the display, with an arrow beside / on top of the text to be able to return quickly to the header menu. Below each blog post would be things like Disqus / Facebook comments / social links, and the usual page footer at the very bottom.

A few people have modified their S-Drive Stream to be responsive. Take a look at this thread.

Thanks, Eric, had "seen" that post BUT it now comes up "404" a nice looking 404 but still ...
so there's no real example to follow, which kinda makes it difficult
incidentally, the "hardcore code" Stream provides -- that's CSS, right?
(as you can see gotta, re-learn all this from a few years ago -- haven't done much since 2014)

They're noted to have visited last Wednesday (thanks to Frank I know how to check that!)
but their own site seems to have been undergoing re-construction for a veeeeeeeeeeerrrry long time, so not sure "available" they are

Click on their username under their avitar in this forum and I think a message user option will show.

sorry, Eric, did look for that, again in your case this time, and it doesn't -- they haven't replied to a message to their "under construction" site yet, but they're in England, I'm "Downunder" (actually in New Zealand -- almost exactly 12 hours time difference, so when I sent that they might not have even been awake, so have to wait a day or so
