Hello,
Just downloaded the FF 2.1 (donation :) ) upgrade, question I have is: Since I have a site made with FF 2.0 when I do install ( than lose 2.0) will everything made with 2.0 also be be used with 2.1 ie. symbols made etc. ?

Another question: This 2.1 FF is it the same one now with the RSD 2.1 upgrade? In other words I can use 2.1 as a stand alone ap or use RSD 2.1 and have FF-2.1 also? I have both RSD 2.1 ( not installed yet) and now FF - 2.1 ( not installed yet)

Of course! Just open the project file and save.

They are similar, but not the same. RSD 2.1 contains CSS Blend Modes, Video Background Components and the Out of View states just to mention a few off the top of my head.

Scott, can the newest RSD open up the new RFF/RBB files? I understand it wouldn't work the other way.

Scott installed 2.1 and ALL is working great very impressed with the new components and even having my original Symbols still there which was a worry for me. Another great Ap from CC !

Hi,

When installing FF2.1 do I just delete all previous versions of FF, and - before or after?
(Sorry, away for 6 months and no programming, my aging brain is struggling to get back into it)

Many thanks

You can delete the earlier version(s) manually, or let the new version do it for you.

Many thanks Inger.

It was just that when I installed a 2.0 update late April, the old version wasn't automatically deleted. That caused me to worry that I would delete my project files when deleting the old version.

Kind regards,
silmcoach

Ah, installing 2.1 did auto uninstall latest 2.0, but when manually uninstalling the older version of 2.0 beta I did lose the project files. Fortunately did have a BU on ext. HD so could open the index file from there and save, but struggling with images etc. But heh ho ... it's never quite so easy

Best wishes / silmcoach
