I cannot get around the "Sorry, the action you are trying to complete has timed out. [28] Additional information: Timeout was reached." error message I am getting. I looked over the other posts, saw the suggestion to "check for updates" but I cannot access that it seems? I need to update my site, which has a calendar so it is really time sensitive.

they are probably suggesting updates for ftp software.

As I see you say 4.2 - so you must be using the free ftp program. You don't usually pick up upgrades from the "get support", "my products" area. That is for the paid versions.

But if you are using the 4.2 free version, there is a new one out 4.3 and you can go to this link and download it. http://www.coffeecup.com/free-ftp/

You might want to uninstall the 4.2, then install the 4.3 version to make sure there are no conflicts.
