VSD and Website Security - Post ID...

I'm developing a website using Version 7 Build 24 of VSD. There are some parts of the website that might contain personal information such as name, address, phone number, and email address of individuals. I would like to be able to either restrict the entire website to only authorized individuals, or if that's not possible, to somehow make secure the page(s) within the website that contain that personal information.

I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks very much in advance,

Stew

Phil, thank you for the info on Website Access Manager. In the write up, it mentions that it works with Apache and Apache-compatible servers. My website will reside on CoffeCup's S-Drive system. Do you know if that qualifies as an Apache or Apache-compatible server system?

Thanks again,

Stew

I do not have a definitive answer for you on that one Stew. I "think" I had seen a posting about someone using WAM on a S-Drive set-up, but not positive. BUT, I am certain that someone who can provide a more solid answer will be along for you.

Right now Website Access Manager is not compatible to S-Drive. We are however working on a solution for this.

Ahh! Eric a man after my own heart. There is indeed more than one way to skin a cat. I like your attitude but then you program and it all becomes apparent.

I asked if a email account comes with S_Drive. I have an unlimited number of emails with my host. Problem is what do I do with them. Too many maybe worse than too few, well not too few.
Come on now I have WAM spit it out, whats the drum there.

As an American you may have a few more marbles than most rolling around up there, You impress me.

You da man Eric :D Knew we could count on you (and maybe you're who I remembered talking about this previously, just so I know I'm not completely losing my marbles).
