Why No Support on Weekends? - Post ID...
Good morning! I was impressed with Coffee Cup years ago when I first dabbled in having my own website. I loved it and customer service was great. I didn't really have time to maintain it like it needed to be due to my family and work commitments. Now, that I'm nearing retirment, I am considering starting up my own website again. The main thing that is holding me back is lack of customer support over the weekend. I lost access to my email due to a simple oversight (by me) of not updating my payment method on file and I had to wait until Monday to resolve that. The response was quick once we were on a business day, but in the meantime I was stressing out about what things I might be missing. It wasn't that big of a deal since most of my business can be run through Etsy or Ebay but what if something really important and time sensitive had come and I didn't see it? I haven't been on a Coffee Cup forum in years so maybe this is an old topic, but just thought I'd share my perspective.
I see from earlier posts that you used to get a lot of support from Scott. He is no longer working at CC, and one of the things he said after quitting was that he had finally gained some free time to spend with his family. It has become quite common for companies, not only at CC, to promise an answer to support tickets within two or three working days.
Ha en riktig god dag!
