Hello Everyone,
I joined CoffeeCup Some years Ago (before I Retired) after reading a great review concerning the software. I Knew I would need something to occupy my time once retired. Now being fully retired I'm finding that extra time I knew I would have, but in addition I'm finding I also have to be a bit more frugal with my spending habits. I have made several purchases in preparation for the hopefully new career. My challenge is this ..... I'm becoming increasing aware that there is a learning curve in learning the new (to Me) Applications and steps to building a Web Site. I keep reading about WordPress and how great it is and EASY TO LEARN. Can someone please give me some feed back as to where to start with CoffeeCup in learning it. Also please share with me your honest opinion between the two CoffeeCup Vs WordPress. I Have to start cutting corners (expenses)
Thank You
Nathaniel

You will probably get more opinions when people have settled down after the busy Christmas days.
Word Press is freeware, and it is a CMS. Before you learn it properly, you will have to live with their templates for the look and feel.
As to CoffeeCup, it consists of around 30 different applications, of which you don't need all, but you can start with just a few and then add more of them if you need them. It is not a CMS, but with 3rd party solutions, you can turn it into one. You can make your own design, that goes hand in hand with learning the programme.
I don't know how the support is for WordPress if you get into trouble, but for the CC programmes, the support is quick, friendly and very much to the point.
