We have been dealing with Coffeegrinder grid system, we now have Foundation and Bootstrap, and we'll soon see a full blown css grid. Do we need another grid system?

I haven't used W3 grid, but I have been looking at it. To me it seems simplified compared to the others. It is possibly easier, but also more limited than the ones we have. I don't expect CC to implement it any time soon, so it would mean hand coding - which shouldn't be a problem for those who are able to hand code, of course.

I have been coding websites for over 20 years. First in just old-fashioned html, then with css2, later html5 and css3. I have been hand-coding responsive sites without any grid systems, just with media queries, then hand coding with bootstrap, and for the last couple of years I've gone through coffeegrinder, foundation and bootstrap in CC's various programmes. I'm a bit sceptic to the css grid, but I'll do my best to learn it. Other than that, I don't need any more grid systems until they are forced upon me. And there are many more out there: https://www.webpagefx.com/blog/web-desi … -css-grid/

Don't misunderstand me. I'm not negative to new stuff. I have looked at the w3 grid system just out of curiosity, but I haven't done more than that. I really don't have any opinion about the various options of it.
