I downloaded the FreeFtp yesterday. I have a website I made in Publisher, hosted by Godaddy. I previously uploaded with the ftp thing in windows. I can't get it to work now, so that's why I downloaded FreeFtp. I made changes to the Publisher file. Saved the changes, then saved as Pub files and then saved as Web Page Filtered. I have tried and tried to upload with the FreeFtp and I finally got something to happen, but the website now shows a blank white screen. When I try to upload, it appears to be working, when I look at the transfer status thing. I may be trying to upload the wrong thing or upload it to the wrong place. The folder in the left hand pane is called index and contains an HTM file called index.htm, and a PUB file called index.htm.pub, and a folder called index_files. In the right hand pane, where I put the file, there is a longer list of files and folders. There are HTM, PHP, ASP, HTML files, and some folders. I tried putting the HTM file from the left into the index folder on the right, and when that didn't work I tried putting it into the index_files folder. I don't remember what else I tried. All my attempts yesterday resulted in no changes to the website. Today something I did made the website look blank.

I have no experience with making web pages in Publisher, so I can't tell you what kinds of files and folders you should have. But since you downloaded the free FTP, why not download the free html Editor too, and try opening your htm or html files in that. If you have all the contents locally, it should be possible to upload it too.

Let us have a link to your site, maybe we can find out that is wrong.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Have you put an index page up, because there's nothing in the source code

I must not have. I don't know how to do that. I've been doing the site with Publisher, save changes, save as pub file, then save as web page filtered, then click "publish to the web", click on "computer", then click on the ftp network location, and copy and paste the index file, not the index.htm or index.pub files. I don't know why that quit working. I googled for solutions but I didn't understand what I found, things like something wrong in the registry. I'm not knowledgeable about computers. The FreeFTP even seems complicated to me. How do I put an index page up?

Try doing with index.html

I clicked the index.htm (I don't see one with an "L" on the end) then clicked the index one in the right pane, then download. When I did that an Internet Explorer screen opened behind the FreeFTP screen and it was blank. I think that's what I did earlier that caused the blank screen on the website when viewed on the internet. This time, it didn't do the download process.

Are we still talking about cloverscottishgames.com ? Cause I'm confused. Looks like it's working.
