Hi,

I have been using the trail version of vsd to create a site, but have come upon a problem with text alignment that happens in Internet Explorer (version 8), although in Firefox (3.6.12) it appears correctly.

The site is http://www.vascof.com

The problem is in various links I put in the right side. I aligned them to a vertical guide, justified the text to the right, however the text is not aligned in Internet Explorer. How can I get around this? Thanks!

How do you want them aligned? I'm using IE9 Beta. There aligned to the right side of your page in my view. Chrome looks the same.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Vasco - I'm seeing them ragged in both Firefox and IE8.
Try this:
Click on your link to make it editable (red text box), choose right align for the text then pull the text box in as close to the text as possible (you might put a space after each link to keep it free from the box outline).
Make sure your text boxes - not just the actual text - are well within your page border then use a vertical guide to line up your right edges.

Thanks for the comments.

Before I had the text boxes exactly the same size, with all text aligned to the right. I've made the text boxes as small as possible around the text, and it made no difference.

What seems to happen to me is that the wider the text is, the more to the left it appears. :/

what happens if you remove the links :: do they still appear out of line ?

I just tried to duplicate this doing it the way you said, and it lined up OK in preview (not tried uploading)
Strange though because the inbuilt option to right justify does not work at all
I will send Scott a message to look at this thread

Thanks. Well, my right justify text option does work, and the problem also shows up in preview.

Did you make sure that none of the text boxes over-lap or go outside of your page border?
